CR Magnetics, Inc. has introduced a new series of highly effective and stable current sensing relays specifically designed to monitor electrical current. Major applications include monitoring of electrical heater elements, sensing motor over/under loads, detecting lamp burn-out and indicating phase loss.

The new CR4395 series of current sensing relays operate by routing the current carrying wire through the opening extending from the top of the case. When the current reaches the level set by the trip-point adjustment, the electromechanical relay is energized. A precision voltage reference circuit ensures a highly repeatable trip-point.

This new series of current sensing relays has the unique features and benefits of:

An adjustable trip-point capable of monitoring different current level.

Variable time delays inhibit activation during motor start-up.

Electronic isolation between circuits protects instrumentation from high voltage

        A calibrated dial option allows instant viewing of the current trip-point.


The new CR Magnetics CR4395 series of precision current sensing relays is available in ampere trip ranges from .010 to 100 AC Amps. The case size measure 2.50" x 3.50" x 2.125" high overall.
