NEW PRODUCT SUCCESS …CR45 SERIES OF CURRENT RING^TM INDICATORS, BY CR MAGNETICS, INC.

CR Magnetics, Inc. developed the CR45 Series of electrical Current Ring^TM Indicators as an easy and low cost way to monitor electrical current flow. Simply, the integral indicator light glows when current is flowing and goes off when an interruption or failure of current flow occurs. This unique visual display of the electrical diagnosis is simple and instantaneous in comparison with traditional test instruments.

The Current Ring^TM Indicators easily slip over current carrying wires or cables and require no splices or electrical connections. They are positioned by use of a plastic tie or looping the wire through the center of the indicator. The indicator will accept one size #6 AWG wire through its center or up to four passes of a size #18 AWG wire. A specially designed aluminum bracket (MB-45) allows for panel mounting.

The CR Magnetics CR45 Series Current Ring Indicators are a completely self- contained, self-powered, non-intrusive device weighing only 0.5 oz. with dimensions of 1.29 x 0.95 x 0.46 inches overall. It is housed in bright safety yellow, non-corrosive thermoplastic for quick sighting in complicated equipment or an extensive network of wires. They are designed to indicate an "open" or "shorted" wire with current flow of from 2 to 100 amps. Both red or green LED indicators are available. The CR Magnetics CR45 Series Current Ring Indicators are a proprietary patented design which contains a toroidal wound current transformer attached to a high efficiency LED through an arrangement of voltage limiting components. They are designed to operate in 50 or 60 Hz systems.
