NEWS RELEASE

NEW CR7310 SERIES OF GROUND FAULT SENSORS NOW AVAILABLE FROM CR MAGNETICS, INC.

CR Magnetics, Inc. has introduced a new series of Ground Fault Sensors with exceptional performance at very moderate cost. Major applications in providing overall equipment protection include monitoring of motor ground faults, including submerged pumps and sensing early failure of heater elements.

The new CR7310 series is rated UL 1053-Class1 and senses ground fault currents in single/multiple phase electrical systems , from 100 AC Amps to as low as 10mA. Supply voltages are 120vac or 240vac.

The new CR7310 series of Ground Fault Sensors operate by routing the current carrying wires through the opening of the current sensor. When ground current reaches the level set by the trip-point adjustment, the electromechanical relay is energized, it illuminates the tripped LED and provides an output signal. A precision voltage reference circuit ensures a highly repeatable trip-point.

This new series of Ground Fault Sensors has the unique features and benefits of:
o A variety of relay or solid state output options: Electromechanical Relay (ELR), Optoisolated NPN Transistor (NPN) and Optoisolated Triac (TRC).
o Internal or remote current sensors to fit specific location needs.
o A calibrated dial option allows adjustment of the LED trip status indicator for instant viewing of the current trip-point.
o An adjustable trip-point capable of monitoring different current levels.
o Variable time delays inhibit activation during motor start-up.
o Electronic isolation between circuits protects instrumentation from high voltage.

The new CR Magnetics CR7310 series of Ground Fault Sensors are available in ampere trip ranges from .010 to 100 AC Amps. The case sizes measure: 2.50" x 3.50" x 2.125" high for the internal CT units and 2.50" x 3.50" x 1.55" high for the external CT units.

Standard styles of the CR Magnetics series of new Ground Fault Sensors are In Stock And Available For Immediate Shipment! In addition, custom designs to meet specific requirements can be readily fabricated and promptly delivered.

Upon introducing the new CR Magnetics CR7310 series, James Bubash, President of CR Magnetics, Inc., stated: "This new series of ground fault sensors has received rave reviews from the initial customer applications. We are counting on the use of our crmagnetics.com web site to help the design engineers and plant maintenance engineers with quick access to extensive technical information and specific application data demonstrating the use of these new products."
